We are empowered by executive volunteers as an organization committed to being one of many vital catalysts for promoting Nigeria’s emergence as a global leader in social development for its people. We believe in partnerships and coalition building as vital gateways to establishing the organizing synergy that make social transformation possible. We value all Nigerians who have come before us with a vision of a Nigeria fully in control of and confident in the brilliance of its destiny. We understand that social development is the foundation for leadership and national progress. We recognize the importance of volunteerism and philanthropy. We note their positive impact on the vibrancy of the economies and well-being of nations. For example, more than sixty three million citizens volunteer annually in the USA, and the USA has a rich tradition of private foundations and families contributing substantial assets to promote social progress. We have participated in and have seen the transformative impact of volunteerism and philanthropy in the USA and Nigeria.

We will develop the most comprehensive database of volunteer opportunities, assignments, and outcomes starting in Lagos State. We will train volunteers, and we will train agencies to more effectively utilize volunteers. Beginning with Lagos State, we will collaborate with organizations across Nigeria to establish a Social Development Coalition that will vastly enhance the organizational capacity, impact, and synergy of participants. Within five years we will link more than 10,000 active and retired professionals as volunteers providing more than one million hours of service in Lagos State alone. After five years, we will spread to other states in Nigeria so that ultimately hundreds of thousands of volunteers will be active. Moreover, we will be a leading contributor to expanding a broad based culture of volunteerism and philanthropy in Nigeria and its Diaspora.
